Our Approach

Tune Up Your “Social Radar”

Some of us just miss those subtle signals that usually register clearly with an average socializer. For example we may stand too close or speak too loudly during conversations with others. We might miss our partner’s “gotta go now” head bob which winds things up. This is the result of weak social radar. Our Social Learners don’t pick up signals as easily as others. It’s like we are travelling through Greece when all we know is French.

IMPORTANT: Having lower social “spidey senses” doesn’t mean a person has a weak intellect or a bad attitude. The fact is some people need to specifically learn what others pick up intuitively. Social Improv© helps Learners interpret and practice social signals.

Generalizing

Having great social SKILLS is important but knowing how and when to use them is what makes the social learning last.

With Social Improv©, Learners experience the “Why & When” (Social Understanding) of their interactions so they can generalize the “How” (Social Skills) across the various contexts of their day with more confidence and ease.
